Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal reunite for Hulu’s highly anticipated Spanish-language original series La Máquina, bringing audiences a thrilling glimpse into the dark side of boxing. The two stars, who first shared the screen in Y Tu Mamá También, return as a boxer-manager duo navigating a perilous journey for redemption.
La Máquina follows Esteban “La Máquina” Osuna (Gael García Bernal), a once-great boxer whose career has hit rock bottom. Desperate for a comeback, his manager and best friend, Andy Lujan (Diego Luna), fights to get him back in the ring. However, their path to success is threatened by a powerful criminal organization, turning what was meant to be a career-saving match into a fight for their lives.
In the gripping trailer, Eiza González plays Osuna’s ex-wife Irasema, warning him of the dangerous forces closing in. “There’s something bigger than boxing at stake,” she tells him, hinting at the deadly consequences awaiting.
