Laredo Kid Aims to Bring TNA X-Division Title Home to San Antonio

San Antonio wrestling fans are in for an adrenaline-packed event as TNA Wrestling rolls into town for TNA: Victory Road 2024 on September 13. But first, TNA: Emergence will light up a sold-out crowd in Louisville, Kentucky on August 30, where Texas’s own Laredo Kid will take center stage. The high-flying luchador is set to compete in the legendary 6-Way Ultimate X match for the TNA X-Division championship, where the title belt hangs above the ring, and the first wrestler to seize it claims victory.

Laredo Kid will face a formidable lineup, including champion Mike Bailey, Zachary Wentz, Riley Osborne, Hammerstone, and Jason Hotch. Known as “El Aguila de Rio Bravo,” Laredo Kid has drawn inspiration from X-Division greats like AJ Styles and Amazing Red, and he’s eager to leave his mark on the division.

Despite suffering a near career-ending injury in 2022, Laredo Kid’s resilience has brought him back stronger than ever. His sights are set on winning his first X-Division title and bringing it back to San Antonio, stating, “I’m ready to bring that belt to San Antonio and defend it for my fans.”
