Tijuana’s “Navidad Luchona”: Young Wrestlers Steal the Show
Tijuana’s “Navidad Luchona” has been lighting up the city this December, delivering thrilling wrestling events to local fans. Sponsored by the Tijuana City Hall through the Municipal Institute of Sport, these exciting shows offer free access to the public. Fans flock to the ring on Avenida Revolución, where they enjoy impressive performances from emerging lucha libre talents.
Young Stars Take Center Stage
Rising stars like Valeria Blade and Angelux are stealing the spotlight at Tijuana’s “Navidad Luchona.” Just months into their professional wrestling careers, these young athletes have already captured the crowd’s attention with their raw talent and energy.
Valeria Blade: Proud of Her Legacy
Valeria Blade, 17, is making a name for herself in the ring. As the daughter of famed wrestler Arandu, she feels the weight of her family’s legacy. “Every time I step into the ring, it’s both a challenge and a dream come true. I owe so much to my trainer, my dad. Without him, I wouldn’t be here,” Valeria said. She knows how important it is to honor her father’s name, and she works hard to represent him well.
Angelux: A Shared Dream with Valeria
At just 16, Angelux is already living his dream. He and Valeria started their wrestling journey together and continue to support one another. “It’s amazing to share this dream with Valeria. We began at the same school, and we always help each other out,” said Angelux. The pair is thrilled to be part of Tijuana’s “Navidad Luchona,” where fans get to experience live wrestling for free.
