Promotion’s 16th live event takes place at Polideportivo Vall D’Hebron, Barcelona this Saturday, Oct. 19
Spanish MMA promotion The Way of Warrior (WOW) has announced that tickets for its live event in Barcelona on Saturday, Oct. 19 are sold out.
The show takes place at Pavelló de la Vall d’Hebron, which was originally constructed in 1991 to host Olympic Games competition, and will include a total of 11 bouts, including a 5 bout professional main card and a 6-bout amateur preliminary fight card.
A featherweight (145 pounds) matchup between undefeated Theodore Bashford (5-0) of Spain’s Canary Islands and Zackaria Guezzar (4-2-1) of Lyon, France headlines Saturday’s WOW event.
WOW: Barcelona comes on the heals of the first-ever Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) event to take place in Spain. BKFC hosted the show at Marbella Arena in the city of Marbella on Saturday.
