Zacatecas, Mexico – Rising stars Víctor “Peru” Núñez and Omar “Strong Dog” Ortiz have each signed an exclusive contract with the LUX Fight League, a regional Mexican fight promotion.
In his last fight at LUX, Núñez delivered a knockout victory over Alexander Bastisa with a vicious liver kick.
Meanwhile, Ortiz displayed patience and strength in his professional debut, securing a submission victory over Jesús Servando with just seconds left in the fight.
Zacatecas has become a breeding ground for MMA talent, with five local fighters winning their respective bouts during LUX’s event at the Marcelino González Gym.
